Irish-born Derby Browne studied music at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin and then was awarded a coveted place at the Conservatory of Music where she studied singing, piano, harpsichord and drama. Derby Browne’s genre of music is French and Italian Cabaret Music combined with the Brazilian Bossa-Nova. Predominately influenced by artists such as Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Jacques Brel and Carlos Jobim, she not only covers their songs in her unique style, but also writes and performs her own material. She has recently performed at a number of festivals in the UK and has recorded and produced her debut album called Sweet Pea
