The Festival International de la Chanson Francophone  (International Festival of French Song) is the initiative of  and Alliance Française and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Ireland, in association with Note Productions to celebrate the rich diversity of modern French song. For its 2nd edition the festival presents the full range of modern French song for Dublin audiences.

The impressive headline line-up includes French pop iconoclast Sébastien Tellier whose recent album Politics and single La Ritournelle proved a massive success both in France and abroad. French hip-hop has been the centre of critical and popular acclaim for some time. TTC are the most innovative, risk-taking and outrageous hip hop act to come out of France in the last decade. Guinean kora star Ba Cissoko illustrates the reach of Francophone music with his acclaimed Electric Griot Land.

The line-up is completed by double-bill shows from emerging talents Courir les Rues and Les Doigts de l’Homme and Stéphanie Lignon & Véronique Pestel, as well as a concert for young people by François Lemonnier.
